Literally Iconic Bands

Perhaps the most simple form in graphic design is the icon.  The Merriam-Webster dictionary simply defines an icon as “a sign (as a word or graphic symbol) whose form suggests its meaning.”  Well, after doing a bit of research on icons, design firm Tata&Friends, a firm based in Madrid, has come up with a really cool tribute to some its favorite rock bands.  Using only icons, Tata&Friends has redesigned the band logos based on the band names, making “literal rock band icons” as the firm states on its website.  Here they are.
