Artistic Translations

Artist Anjana Iyer, of Auckland, New Zealand, is working on an incredibly cool, and often very amusing, project.  Titled “Found in Translation” Iyer’s project consists of digital illustrations that attempt to depict words from foreign languages that cannot be directly translated into English word for word.  The project is still a work in progress.  If you would like to follow Iyer’s project, you can check it out here: http://www.behance.net/gallery/9633585/Found-In-Translation

Here are some of her designs thus far.  Enjoy!
