American Airlines New Look

628x471On Thursday January 17th, American Airlines unveiled its first new look since 1968.  CEO Tom Horton announced on a webcast Thursday morning that, โ€œWe know there are still big decisions to make about our future, but the redesign is the next step.โ€

American Airlines is adding hundreds of new aircraft with composite materials that must be painted to maintain the airlines โ€œsilver birdโ€ image. Aircraft sporting the new logo and red, white and blue stripes on their tails are set to enter service starting January 31st.
