American Airlines New Look

628x471On Thursday January 17th, American Airlines unveiled its first new look since 1968.  CEO Tom Horton announced on a webcast Thursday morning that, “We know there are still big decisions to make about our future, but the redesign is the next step.”

American Airlines is adding hundreds of new aircraft with composite materials that must be painted to maintain the airlines “silver bird” image. Aircraft sporting the new logo and red, white and blue stripes on their tails are set to enter service starting January 31st.
