Global is a typeface designed by artist Anthony James. The artist describes the typography very well himself, so I have offered you his description. In my opinion this is a lovely typeface that could serve well for many applications. It could prove suitable for a plethora of businesses and organizations, and its application in multiple languages could make it quite useful, especially for international businesses that want to maintain a sense of unity within their design concepts.
We here at Logoworks would love your opinions! Do you like Global? Would you use it? If so, for what do you think it it most suited?
Here is what Anthony James has to say about his design:
“Global Typefamily is comprised of 4 stylistic themes, each with subtle variations to terminals, crossbars and bowls. Each set contains an extended Latin script for multilingual application. There are a number alternate figures and ligatures and It’s clean concise structure makes it easy to manipulate, as with the examples below.
Global is a serif typeface with multilingual applications. Slender lines and great legibility make it perfect as a display font. With curves in all the right places, it is great for editorials and other commercial use.
Global Typefamily consists of 772 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, glyphs, ligatures and accents.”
